Advocate for victims and survivors

Support victims directly and on a representative level. When you hear about legislation or public decisions that affect survivors, contact your representatives and speak up for the safety and dignity of people in your community.

Help a friend with care

  • Listen fully and do not judge.
  • Talk about safety and let the victim guide decisions.
  • Share options and resources, including PAVE.
  • Protect privacy and make your support unconditional.
  • Notice and affirm every small step toward safety.
