Marissa

Hi, my name is Marissa and I am the Program Support Manager here at PAVE. In my free time you will find me at the gym, reading, traveling or baking. I am currently enrolled at Moraine Park Technical College to obtain my associates degree in business management. I hope to pursue my bachelor's degree after.

My biggest hope is to be in a career where I can make a difference in people's lives. I have always been a very empathetic person and try my best to be a shoulder to lean on.

I believe in PAVE's mission and I hope to help make an impact on the community.

Program Lead Victim Advocates

Our team of leads all have something in common: a deep passion for helping others.

Sylvia

I was born and raised in Long Beach, California. I have a loving husband, 3 children, and a tiny 2-pound chihuahua. We love to host gatherings at our place, we enjoy camping, hiking, and the outdoors. Every year we plant a huge vegetable garden, and have a love for house plants and flowers.

I have always loved working with the community and contributing where the need is great. I love everything about my work with PAVE from working closely with the community and watching how freely they give to those affected by violence. It is my goal to help raise awareness to reach as many people as possible, this helps prevent abuse and helps victims to know where they can reach out for help.

I take pride in my work and love seeing how I can help someone come to us as a victim and help them blossom into a survivor and regain their dignity and independence.

In the past, I have worked with the Madison Metropolitan School District as a Bilingual Teacher's Assistant and as the School Clerk, I have worked at a Law firm for 7 years, and then as a Bilingual Teller and Personal Banker. In these positions, I have learned communication skills, teamwork, problem solving, emotional intelligence, helping students gain self-confidence, and a lifetime of helping many, many people who have a language barrier to communicate with others.

I am honored to be a lead advocate for an organization that lives up to their mission of empowering those affected by violence.

Naci en Long Beach California.

Angela Rheingans

arheingans@pavedc.org

I've worked with PAVE since early 2023. First as a child and teen advocate, and then in my current position as associate director.

My employment and education journey has given me experiences working with children participating in the treatment foster care program in the state of Wisconsin, children currently living in third world countries, and with families enrolled in Head Start and Early Head Start programming. I've also worked on mission trips and for private family foundations.

For fun, I love to travel and I like to play games: board games, video games, card games, and more. My current childhood movie favorite is The Goonies.
